Teaching professor of theatre at the University of Picardie-Jules Verne, he is the director of the Arts department. In his research, he convoques literature, theatre, and philosophy. He published many essays, among which Bernard-Marie Koltès : Généalogies (Farrago, 2000), Le geste théâtral de Roland Barthes (Hermann, 2012) and Koltès, le sens du monde (Les Solitaires Intempestifs, 2014).

Marie-Madeleine Mervant-Roux

Head of research at the CNRS (ARIAS: Atelier de recherches sur l'intermédialité et les arts du spectacle) and teacher at the University of Paris Sorbonne Nouvelle in theatre. Her research is about the history of sound in theatre (historical anthropology, aesthetic, and intermedial approach). She co-directed three editions of the French revue Théâtre/Public about the sound of theatre ("The Audible Past", "Say acoustics", and "Voice Words Words Words"). She currently directs the leader program of ANR ECHO (ECrire l'Histoire de l'Oral).

Teaching professor in the Theatre Arts department of the University of Sao Paulo, he works on the poetics of voice and body and on the training of the actor. Stage director, actor, singer, and music director, he worked with artists such as Augusto Boal and Myrian Muniz. He currently directs the Grupo dos 7, a drama and music troupe. He published many papers, including Palavras Invisiveis and Percursos poetico da voz (the Sala Preta revue).

Charles Feitosa

Teaching professor at the University of Rio de Janeiro (UNIRIO) in Brazil in both the Theatre and Philosophy departments. He has a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Freiburg, and published, among other essays, Explicando a Filosofia com Arte (Jabuti Prize of 2005). He coordinates the POP-LAB (Laboratorio de estudos em Filosofia pop), and works on the concepts of body, voice, and scream in philosophy, art and pop culture.
